Privacy Policy

Effective for all projects undertaken by Vectors Drafting

By accepting a quote and engaging Joinery Drafting Services ("we", "us", "our"), the client ("you") acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Invoicing

We will issue invoices after each project stage.

2. Design Amendments

Each room includes 1 revision of design changes, unless otherwise stated. These changes must be minor and within the scope of the original brief.

  • A full redesign or alternative option will be quoted before any changes are made.

  • After the second revision, any further changes will incur a fee equal to one-third of the original cost of that room.

 

3. Consultations

  • Face-to-face meetings or site visits are not included unless specified in your quote.

  • Virtual meetings via screen sharing are available at no extra charge, with no limit on the number of sessions.

 

4. Planning & Building Approvals

We do not guarantee council or planning approvals. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with all Australian Standards, Council Regulations, R-Codes, and BCA requirements.

5. Site Visits & Meetings

  • Meetings and site visits are not included in our standard fees.

  • Meetings are charged at $100/hour.

  • Site visits outside the Sydney area will incur hourly charges plus travel and accommodation costs, if applicable.

 

6. Hard Copies

If you require printed plans, please notify us and we will provide a quote, unless otherwise included in your project quote.
 

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any losses resulting from errors or issues caused by the client or third parties.

8. Delivery Disclaimer

While we strive to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work, we do not guarantee error-free drawings or exact delivery timelines in all cases.

9. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for reviewing all drafts and providing clear markups. Failure to provide timely feedback may lead to delays and additional charges.

10. Fabrication Drawings

If fabrication drawings are requested, it is your responsibility to:

  • Verify all on-site measurements.

  • Notify us of discrepancies. We are not liable for any issues due to site and drawing inconsistencies.
     

11. Payment Terms

Full payment is required within 14 days of completion, regardless of whether the drawings are used.

 

12. Payment Method

Payments must be made via bank transfer to the account listed on your invoice. No other payment methods are accepted.

13. Ownership of Designs

All designs remain the property of Vectors Drafting unless explicitly licensed and paid for in full. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

14. Debt Collection

If payment is not received within 30 days, we reserve the right to engage a debt collection agency. The client will be responsible for all recovery costs (15% of the outstanding amount).

 

15. Late Fees

  • $50 admin fee may apply for follow-ups on unpaid invoices.

  • Late payments may incur 3% interest per month.
     

16. Client Content Liability

You are fully responsible for any content, information, or materials you provide, including any legal violations.

 

17. Subcontracting

We may outsource work locally or internationally without prior client approval.

 

18. Order Cancellation

Once confirmed in writing, orders cannot be cancelled or changed without our written consent. Cancellation fees may apply.

 

19. Intellectual Property

Each party retains ownership of any intellectual property created before this agreement.

 

20. Ownership of Work

All intellectual property created during the project remains with Vectors Drafting until full payment is received.

 

21. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party providers, both in Australia and overseas, to complete your project.

 

22. No Liability for Consequential Loss

We are not responsible for indirect, special, or consequential losses, including loss of business, income, or reputation.

 

23. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, supply shortages).

24. Order Suspension

We may cancel or suspend work if payment for previous projects remains unpaid.

 

25. Software Disclaimer

While we reference software such as Microvellum, AutoCad, Briscad, we do not sell or guarantee support for these products. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

 

26. Early Project Termination

If you choose to exit the project early, we reserve the right to invoice for work completed up to that point, based on time and rates.
 

27. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Australia. Both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.


28. GST

A 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be added to all invoices.
 

29. Business Hours

Our standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. While we try to accommodate after-hours meetings, availability is not guaranteed.

 

31. Website Content

All content on our website (logos, text, graphics, images, etc.) is protected by copyright law.

 

32. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to copy, replicate, or misuse any content. Access is permitted only through secure, public channels.
